CTCO ANNOUNCES POSTPONED TO MARCH 2022
CTCONews
Initially scheduled for February 1, 2, and 3, 2022, the CTCO Lyon trade show has moved its dates to March 15, 16, and 17, 2022, due to the health situation. Although the gauges announced by the Prime Minister do not concern trade shows such as the CTCO, too many uncertainties remain to maintain the event in early February. C!Print Lyon, usually organized jointly, will be postponed to May 10, 11, and 12, 2022, exceptionally separately, for logistical reasons.
CTCO brings together professionals in the promotional products and textiles industry each year in Lyon. Nearly 260 exhibitors and more than 11,000 visitors gather to discover the latest textile collections and new products in promotional products and business gifts, to exchange ideas with their peers, and to gain new ideas.
"This decision to postpone the show is motivated by our shared desire to offer a quality event, while responding to the challenges posed by the health context. It was taken in consultation with industry players who are keen to be able to present their new collections in the first quarter, a key period for the promotional items and textiles sector ,
explains Pierre Mirlit, the general director of 656 Editions, the organizer of the show.
CTCO is more than just a trade show. It's a friendly gathering where the community enjoys getting together and connecting. Postponing our 2022 edition to March will allow us to maintain this spirit that is ours, and that everyone appreciates, exhibitors and visitors alike."
The 2FPCO, French Federation of Professionals in Communication through Objects, which was consulted in advance, strongly supports this decision:
"This is a critical time for the events industry, and we enthusiastically welcome the postponement of the show to March. This will allow media object agencies and markers to meet in better conditions, at a time that is always ideal for meeting the show's exhibitors and discovering their collections for this year."
says Anthony Villeger, President of 2FPCO.
The C!Print trade show, usually held jointly with CTCO, will be postponed for logistical reasons: May 10, 11, and 12, 2022, also at Eurexpo Lyon. It will bring together all stakeholders in small- and large-format printing, as well as visual communication professionals.
AN EDITION PACKED WITH NEW FEATURES
CTCO will support professionals in this dynamic of recovery and transformation in 2022. First and foremost, it will offer a comprehensive product offering, presented by a very wide range of suppliers: more than 260 exhibitors (including at least 50 new ones) will present their latest ranges of media objects and promotional textile collections.
As every year, a series of conferences will address market issues and interview industry experts, through various speaking formats (conferences, round tables, keynotes). While activities will energize the visitor itineraries. Thus, the CTCO catwalk will return, to host textile fashion shows that were a great success in 2019 and 2020. Several promotional textile brands will present their new collections there. For its part, the Musts area is reinventing itself and will welcome visitors at the entrance of the show, highlighting eco-responsible products, thus offering distributors simple and quick access to the most virtuous products from the leaders in promotional objects and textiles. The personalization workshop will demonstrate the potential of branding as an additional tool for creativity. Everyone will be able to "test" the main techniques and leave with their personalized object.
Finally, visitors will also be able to discover the 2022 exhibitors' offerings (product launches, innovative items, bestsellers) in a new event: Speed Demos . In a dedicated space, participating exhibitors will conduct product demonstrations in a fun way, accompanied by a presenter.
The objective: ten minutes to convince and answer all questions in order to allow the audience to know everything about the product presented.
Professionals who have already ordered their exhibition access badge will receive a new badge for the March 2022 edition in the coming weeks.
