FOCUS ON THE WEAR&CARE PROGRAM

Created 30 years ago, SOL'S, the first brand of the SOLO Group, breaks the codes of the promotional textile market and prefers quality to quantity.
After the creation of four new brands, the objectives remain the same for the group, which wishes to continue and strengthen its commitment. In 2021, SOLO Group launched the wear&care program based on three pillars: product, people, planet, in order to reduce its carbon footprint and improve its societal impact.

What is “wear&care”?
wear&care is SOLO Group's CSR commitment program. It is both a summary of all our actions and an internal charter that guides each member of the team in their daily actions.
Why did you create wear&care?
Our responsibility, both towards the environment and towards people, has always been at the heart of our concerns at SOLO Group, even before it became essential in everyone's eyes.
Today, our customers need to be assured that the clothes they wear are also aligned with their values. We've set up Wear&Care so they can easily access all of our actions, both product-specific and company-wide.

How does it look?
We have chosen to organize this program around three pillars. The first, entitled "PRODUCT," covers all the actions taken to improve the quality of our products by increasing the proportion of organic or recycled materials in our offerings every day.
The second: "PEOPLE" where we have classified all the actions carried out towards women and men in the countries of production or not. For example, our actions within the framework of FAIR WAIR or our participation in Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.
Finally, the third, "PLANET," where we bring together our actions and certifications to reduce the impact of our production on the planet. For example, our certifications concerning organic cotton or recycled polyester, or even PETA.
And tomorrow ?
This program continues to grow, and we are proud of it. For example, this year we are launching AWARE to provide full traceability of our products throughout their manufacturing process.
That said, our goal is not to always add more certifications to wear&care, it is good to implement more and more good practices and to deepen those which prove effective and useful.
