CUBERNECARD: CLIMATE-NEUTRAL BAGS AND BACKPACKS
Cybernecard 's mission is to work with partners who manufacture products as responsibly as possible. This includes measuring the carbon footprint of the products we offer our customers. As such, we are proud to announce that starting in 2022, our entire range of Halfar® bags and backpacks will be certified climate neutral.

This applies to both the synthetic and natural fiber collections, as well as those made with new or recycled fibers. Furthermore, their entire collection offers a wide selection of durable, functional, and stylish bags, available in a wide variety of colors and with a large stock availability.

Climate neutrality guarantee

For all customers who choose Halfar® bags, climate neutrality translates into something very practical: Halfar® guarantees that every bag ordered from stock in the standard range will mathematically have zero greenhouse gas emissions.

The "Klimaneutral" cardboard label affixed to every Halfar® bag certifies the product's climate neutrality directly on the bag. This guarantee applies to raw materials, delivered bags, and their recycling (cradle-to-grave + waste). This means that even the disposal of the bag by the end customer is already offset.
A good example is the eco-designed insulated shopper from Halfar®, ref. 1818030: it was awarded the PSI Promotional Gift Award 2022, in the “Premium Product” category.

What is CO2 offsetting?

Carbon offsetting is an internationally recognized way to take responsibility for unavoidable carbon emissions. It means that the carbon footprint of a company, product, service, or event has been calculated based on internationally recognized standards and fully offset by supporting international climate protection projects. In short, offsetting one ton of carbon means that there will be one ton less carbon dioxide in the atmosphere than there would otherwise have been.

Halfar® avoids and reduces CO2 emissions wherever possible. For example, through its photovoltaic system installed in 2001, which covers a large part of its electricity needs. Or through design and prototyping, with a focus on product sustainability. Optimized transportation and a modern logistics center avoid unnecessary travel and conserve resources through the use of modern technologies.

Halfar® offsets all unavoidable CO2 emissions by supporting climate protection projects, for example through reforestation measures or by replacing climate-damaging technologies with climate-friendly alternatives. They have also launched three climate protection projects in China and India, which are certified according to international standards and contribute to a more climate-friendly energy supply in these countries.
