AN INTERNATIONAL OUTLOOK

This leadership is also reflected in the growing proportion of international attendees. This year, 12.5% of visitors came from abroad, with representation from no fewer than 61 countries!

This increasing international openness was echoed in the conference program. For the first time, visitors were able to attend a roundtable discussion in English, bringing together several European and American professional associations. The theme was “USA, Europe: from dialogue to collaboration.” Michele Bell (ASI – USA), Tom Robey (BPMA – England), Antony Villeger (2FPCO – France), and Emilio Estelles-Zanon (Aimfap – Spain) discussed for nearly an hour the mutually beneficial relationship that European and American promotional product markets can establish.

EXCLUSIVE CONTENT TO INFORM ABOUT THE MARKET

Beyond this international roundtable, several market experts led conferences on current industry topics: French-made textiles, the utility of promotional items in 2024, changes in the reseller profession, and French food tech serving promotional products.

The French Federation of Communication Professionals through Promotional Items (2FPCO) offered conferences and roundtable discussions on customs support regarding French-made products and import-export, as well as the CSR tools made available by the federation.

European Sourcing, a partner of CTCO, also hosted a web marketing series focusing on topics such as artificial intelligence in promotional products and the effectiveness of CRM tools.

THE PROMOTIONAL GIFTS INDUSTRY CHANGE THE RULES

The “Change the Game” motto was also central to CTCO’s activities. Exhibitors highlighted their most eco-friendly innovations in les Must area and during live Speed Demos (product pitches), while the live customization workshop Print Lab showcased gifts and garments in line with the “Change the Game” mantra. This echoed the organization of the Olympic Games in France in the summer of 2024, an event mobilizing the entire promotional gifts industry.
